Chateau De Jallanges
In the middle of the forest and vineyards, a castle from the XVth century built by the King Louis the 11th appears. Jallanges is synonymous with peaceful and authenticity. As we just have 7 bedrooms the atmosphere is very cosy and intimate. In the winter, you can sit around the fireplace disgusting a glass of Vouvray wine. And in the summer, you can have a rest in the fabulous Renaissance Garden flowered with many roses and peonies. It is located between Tours (8 Miles) and Amboise (less than 7 Miles), so it is ideally situated if you just have a few days to visit castles from the Loire Valley : most famous castles of the Loire Valley are within a radius of 50 Kms. (Chenonceau 25 kms, Chambord 45 kms…) Our Four-Star-bedrooms are all of them in the main part of the castle with authentic old-style furniture and comfortable, spacious bathrooms (private toilet, double wash basin, tub/shower and mini-bar). A wonderful breakfast provides homemade jams, croissants, brioche, bread, toasts, yogurts, cereals, different kinds of juices, fruits. It is served in the lounge. The price of the breakfast is 10 euros per person per day (not included).
